Born and raised in Bentonville, Arkansas. Turner recently graduated from the New York College of Ceramics at Alfred University. With a minor in dance and a BFA in fine art with a focus in hand built ceramic sculptures. Turners work is an array of biomorphic forms combined to create large scale instillation work. Turner fell in love with the impression of the fingerprint, as well as a pinching method used to create sharp edges. Using the hand with all of its components to create an immersive conceptual pattern, searching to recreate an essence of growth throughout her work. Looking to push the boundaries of ceramics to create an environment of obscurity, wonder, and question. Finding enjoyment in the loose and quick style created.

While attending Alfred University, Turner was given the opportunity to explore the school and try many different mediums throughout her years. In her years her love for clay grew more with every semester meanwhile her love for dance was discovered as well as choreography. All while being apart of the Alfred women’s lacrosse team all four years, helping lead the team to grow through all four years. In Turners senior year her Senior Thesis consisted of producing her own show at the end of the year, with the help from advisors. Pushing artists to be thrown into working at your own speed, on your own time, and at your own limits. Showing that what you put in is what you are rewarded with. Pushing students to see what they are capable of. Which Turner Loved. Constantly working to prepare for her senior show which was titled Emergence.
